Your Hugs

He's the one that said he's willing to longboard to my house and two AM to give me a hug when I feel sick.

He's the one that waited outside for two hours while I was in debate just to walk me to my car.

He's the one that teaches me new songs for guitar.

He's the one that always knows what to say, even when he's not sure what's going on.

He's the one that supports me when I loose my balance on the stairs.

He's the one that holds my heavy backpack while I wait for my ride to show up.

He insists that he's not amazing, that he's just trying to be a good friend. And that's exactly what's amazing. Being nice just for the sake of being nice is not something that a lot of people are willing to do. You've made me cry, but not because you were a jerk or anything, in fact, quite the contrary: especially when I felt like I had no one to really help me deal with my pains, you were always there with open arms. It was so relieving and so comforting to know that you cared enough to make a point of telling me that you were willing to help me in any way you could. You're so easy to be around and to talk to, and I feel so secure when doing such. The world could use a few more chivalrous, polite, and charactered people like you.

You, my friend, are a regular modern-day knight.

And it is truly an honor to have you as my friend.
